We're Hiring a Staff Accountant
This role sits at the center of our accounting operations, supporting job cost, AP, billing, payroll, and month-end close. You'll work directly with our Accounting Manager in a small, close-knit department where your work genuinely matters and your contributions are visible. It's hands-on from day one.
What You'll Do
- Own the full accounts payable cycle: invoices, vendor credits, payments, and vendor records
- Support job cost and project accounting to keep project financials accurate and current
- Handle account reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Manage AIA billings and track their status through the project lifecycle
- Assist with payroll processing and the accounting entries that follow
- Maintain GL support schedules, fixed assets, prepaids, and monthly accruals
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close alongside the Accounting Manager
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 1–5 years of accounting or accounts payable experience
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
- Experience with ERP or accounting software; Tekla experience is a plus
